Senior Executive, Audit Analytics

The Senior Executive for Audit Analytics is responsible for leveraging data science and analytics to enhance the internal audit function. The position requires a unique blend of technical data skills and analytical business acumen. The core responsibility of the job is to build and maintain the data infrastructure necessary for audit analysis (the data mart), develop and manage insightful dashboards to visualise key risks, and conduct data analysis to identify trends, risks, and provide actionable recommendations that improve the effectiveness of the audit process. While experience in banking is helpful, the fundamental requirement is a passion for data and strong proficiency in tools like SQL and data visualisation. The successful candidate reports to the Head of Audit Analytics.

• Developing and managing our data mart : Building and maintaining the data infrastructure to support audit analytics initiatives, ensuring data quality, accessibility, and efficient data management.
• Implementing and improving analytical tools : Identifying and implementing new technologies to enhance data management and analysis capabilities.
• Developing and maintaining insightful dashboards : Utilising data visualisation skills to create dashboards that provide clear and actionable insights.
• Analysing data and providing recommendations : Analysing trends, identifying risks, and offering recommendations to improve audit effectiveness.
