Position Overview : We are seeking an experienced SAP Subject Matter Expert / Presales Solution Architect to join our dynamic team that plays a pivotal role in the presales process. In this position, you will be responsible for designing and presenting SAP solutions that address the unique needs of our clients while contributing to the success of SAP RFx proposals. You will collaborate closely with sales, lead solution architects, and sales support teams to develop compelling proposals that effectively address client pain points and business requirements. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, technical expertise, and creativity to analyze ERP needs, craft persuasive narratives, and deliver high-quality, tailored solution proposals that align with SAP’s portfolio and strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities
- Solution Design and Development : Collaborate with sales and sales support teams to understand client requirements and develop high-quality solution proposals and tailored SAP solutions packages that address the business challenges of the prospects.
- Client Engagement : Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders and external clients, understanding their business objectives and demonstrating how SAP solutions can meet their needs. Participate in client presentations and demo sessions to showcase the value and capabilities of the proposed solutions.
- Technical Expertise : Stay up to date with the latest SAP technologies, products, and industry trends to provide expert advice to clients and internal stakeholders. Create proof-of-concept demonstrations that highlight benefits and functionalities of SAP solutions. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales and delivery teams, to ensure alignment and successful solution delivery.
- Bid Management : Assist in the preparation of RFx responses, ensuring comprehensive and competitive proposals. Support the sales team in developing pricing strategies and commercial proposals.
Qualifications
SAP Subject Matter Expert (SME) in presales solutioning, or project consulting roles.Deep knowledge of SAP offerings (e.g. RISE / GROW / add-ons / Modular Application Portfolio) and emerging technologies (SAP BTP, Integration Suite, ML, and AI related technologies).Domain Coverage : Manufacturing SME - Expert in PPQM, PM, and PS.Strong understanding of cross-industry business processes and expertise in translating client needs into tailored SAP / ERP solutions.Prior implementation experience with SAP S / 4HANA Cloud and / or SAP S / 4HANA, Private Edition is highly preferred.Excellent communication and storytelling skills to craft persuasive and strategic solution proposals.Ability to think strategically and solve complex problems while aligning proposals with business objectives.Strong interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and build trust with teams and stakeholders.Exceptional organizational skills to thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up to date with industry trends without constant direction.Attention to detail and focus on delivering high-quality, client-focused solutions.Multilingual skills are a plus.Seniorities
