Job Summary :
MSR Green Energy Sdn. Bhd. ("MSR-GE") is a leading renewable energy developer with a strong track record in delivering sustainable, utility-scale solutions. As part of our strategic expansion into the digital economy, we are now undertaking the development of high-performance infrastructure to support next-generation data centres. We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager on a two (2) year contract basis to lead the master development of a data centre campus in Kulai, Johor. This is a highly infrastructure-focused role requiring deep expertise in site development, civil and structural coordination, and authority engagement. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in managing large-scale infrastructure or industrial projects from concept through to completion, with strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the end-to-end master development of the data centre campus, from feasibility and master planning through to infrastructure delivery and final handover
- Develop, maintain, and track detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans in alignment with project goals
- Manage site development works including earthworks, drainage, utilities, roadworks, and structural readiness
- Coordinate and liaise with design consultants, contractors, and internal engineering teams to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery
- Serve as the principal liaison with local authorities, including the Johor State Government, Kulai Municipal Council, PLANMalaysia, TNB, IWK, SPAN, and other relevant regulatory bodies
- Ensure all works comply with statutory and regulatory requirements including planning approvals, environmental regulations, and utility connection standards
- Oversee contractor and consultant performance to ensure quality control, safety compliance, and timely progress
- Identify project risks, delays, or design challenges and implement proactive mitigation measures
- Prepare and present project status reports and key deliverables to senior management and investors
About You :

A recognised Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline; professional certification (e.g., PE or PMP) will be an added advantage10 – 12 years of project management experience in large-scale infrastructure, industrial park, or data centre developmentDemonstrated success in managing infrastructure-heavy developments involving multiple stakeholders and authority coordinationFamiliarity with Malaysian regulatory frameworks, planning processes, and infrastructure requirementsExcellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills with a results-driven mindsetProficient in project management tools such as MS Project or Primavera, and comfortable with interpreting technical drawings and specificationsHighly proactive and hands-on with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
