Cloud Engineer

Overview

As a System Engineer (Cloud), you will be a pivotal member of our team who lead the deployment and management of mission-critical application infrastructure within AWS. Your focus will ensure the resilience, security, and scalability of cloud-based applications and infrastructure. Collaborating closely with development teams, you'll facilitate seamless deployments and provide crucial architectural documentation to clients, addressing their security inquiries with expertise and precision.

Responsibilities

• To support HA, secure and scalable applications and infrastructure on cloud compute and storage platforms.
• Manage deployments into client environments & identify opportunities to lower cost & risk.
• Establish and maintain monitoring - CloudWatch logs & events.
• Work closely with development teams to support application builds, continuous integration, and deployments.
• Work with AWS technical resources on best practices
• Migrate applications on Linux and Windows VM’s into AWS.
• Manage AWS application licensing and billing including provision of service breakdowns.
