MAIN DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITY / FUNCTIONS
- Assisting HOS in producing visual communications that inspire, inform, and promote all hospital and marketing materials, both online and in print.
- Assisting HOS in executing marketing initiatives by monitoring, researching, and reporting on digital marketing efforts.
- Support any additional tasks or duties as assigned by hospital management.
- Work closely with the marketing team to conceptualize and execute design projects that align with marketing strategies.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities and patient demographics to plan marketing strategies.
- Organize and participate in community events, health fairs, and seminars to promote hospital services and build relationships.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for marketing campaigns and provide regular reports to management.
- Help in the preparation and monitoring of the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective strategies.
- Respond to patient and corporate client enquiries about medical screening, wellness, and surgical packages via email, phone, and in-person consultations. Provide detailed information on package offerings and tailor responses based on client needs.
- Continuously work to improve response times to enquiries, ensuring that all questions and concerns are addressed as quickly as possible. Implement tools or systems to automate or streamline the response process where possible.
- Assist in developing and executing marketing strategies to promote the hospital’s service packages to corporate clients through presentations, meetings, and marketing materials.
- To carry out other relevant duties as an employee as stipulated in Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 and Regulations :
- a) To take reasonable care at work for the safety of yourself and other persons.

- c) To wear or use any protective equipment or clothing provided by the employer.
- d) To comply with any instruction or measure on Occupational Safety and Health (OHS).
- Involvement in determining actions to address risk associated with threats and opportunities for hospital; e.g., HIRARC, other OHS risks and opportunities, EAI, Risk Register (Business Risk & Opportunities), Environmental Risk & Opportunities, the needs & expectations of interested parties, internal & external issues.
- Ensure all policies and procedures of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and MSQH Hospital Accreditation Standard are adhered to and records maintained.
- Participate in 5S / QE activities.
- Maintain proper housekeeping in the services / ward.
- Ensure the policies on patient and family rights are addressed at all times.
- Ensure compliance with Patient Safety Goals as safety improvement measures adopted by KPJ Tawakkal KL.
- Maintain proper Hand Hygiene at workplace.
- Adhere to The KPJ Way / Standard People Practice (SPP).
- Involvement in Risk Management exercises including Incident Reporting and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Participate and support activities pertaining to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, including commitment to comply with legal requirements.
- Involvement in Anti-Bribery Management System (ABMS) exercises including training, awareness and documentation.
- Involvement in Business Continuity Management (BCM) exercises including Business Impact Assessment (BIA) and / or Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and related drills / documentation.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
MINIMUM : Diploma / Degree with Experience
PREFERRED : Bachelor’s Degree
Specialization : Marketing, Internal Business and Corporate Communications, Public Relations or Business Development
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
MINIMUM : 2 to 5 years, preferably in healthcare, insurance, pharmaceutical industry
PREFERRED : 3 years in Marketing, Business Development, Digital & Public Relations.
