Application Engineer

Responsibilities

• Technical Consultation & Needs Analysis : Engage customers (Defence and Security) to understand their challenges, technical requirements, and pain points related to their operational needs. Conduct technical discussions and needs assessments to identify the most suitable solutions from the company's product portfolio.
• Solution Design & Proposal Development : Design solutions to meet customer needs based on company product portfolio. Prepare comprehensive technical proposals, including system diagrams, bills of materials (BOM), and detailed technical specifications. Respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and tenders by crafting clear, compelling, and accurate technical responses together with Sales Team.
• Product Presentation / Demonstrations & Proof of Concepts (PoCs) : Involved in product presentations / demonstrations to showcase how the proposed solution / product will meet customer requirements. Lead and manage Proof of Concept (PoC) activities together with Sales Team, working hands-on with customers to validate the technical viability of the proposed solution / product. Resolve any technical questions raised by customers.
• Collaboration : Liaise with the engineering, product development, and project management teams to ensure that the proposed solution is technically feasible and can be successfully implemented. Provide feedback from the field to product teams to help inform future product development and improvements.
