Responsibilities (What you will be doing)
Reporting Structure : The individual reports to the Section Head and Deputy Department HeadElectrical Troubleshooting : Attend to machine breakdowns, troubleshoot electrical issues, and ensure the safe and functional operation of componentsTeam Leadership : Lead technicians in machine repair, modification, and maintenance tasksTraining : Provide training to technicians on repair procedures, electrical knowledge and machine modificationsMachine Study : Conduct studies for machine modifications, implement permanent solutions for breakdowns, and handle parts procurementCompliance : Follow all systems and maintenance regulationsLiason : Communicate with superiors regarding machine changes or unresolved technical problemsDocumentation : Prepare breakdown reports, update maintenance records, and manage document control related to machine manuals, drawings and revisionsSafe Wiring : Possess extensive knowledge of safe wiring techniquesProcess Improvement : Engage in time studies, line balancing, and process improvements to reduce manufacturing overheadProcess Documentation : Establish process documentation and work instructions to support changes and improvementsISO Compliance and Lean Activities : Ensure compliance with ISO requirements and participate in Lean / Kaizen activitiesCollaboration : Work with other departments to improve product quality and contribute to cost containment projectsGuidance and Leadership : Provide guidance to maintenance members, demonstrating the ability to complete tasks with minimal supervisionAdditional Duties : Perform any other duties as directed by the immediate supervisor or assigned by managementRequired Experience and Qualifications
Experience : Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance for manufacturing equipment, with 3+ years in a leadership roleLicenses and Certifications : PW4 license with the ability to provide endorsement is advantageousEducation : Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related fieldSkills :Communication : Able to communicate efficiently at all levels; good command of written and oral English
Leadership : Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive, supervise, and motivate a team as a Team LeaderProblem-Solving : Demonstrated ability to solve problems in both electrical tasks and interpersonal situations with team membersProactivity : Proactive, independent, and willing-to-learn attitudeFamiliar with troubleshooting PLC systems, motor controls, and machine wiring; good knowledge of electrical safety standards and Suruhanjaya Tenaga regulationsWork Ethic : Self-motivated and hardworking, with a willingness to work longer hours when necessaryTraining : Participate in communication skills, supervisory skills, motivational training, and other relevant programs to continuously improve abilities and performance#J-18808-Ljbffr
