Liaise with forwarders, transporters, Customs department, and store personnel to ensure timely clearance and delivery of shipment.
Coordinate and prepare all necessary shipping documentation for the movement of cargo (document for duty exemption and custom import and export declaration) and ensure all shipping documents are distributed to appropriate or designated parties efficiently.
Responsible for administrative duties and activities relating to Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse (LMW) and monitor the overall LMW process (internal and external) to ensure all statutory matters related to LMW is fully complied with Customs Act 1967 and its related laws and regulations.
In-charge of yearly LMW license renewal application and ensure all Customs reports (M1, M2 and M3, etc.) and other monthly and ad-hoc Custom reports are submitted to Customs department or related government departments before its deadlines.
Liaise with Customs department on audits matters relating to LMW license and on imports and exports issues.
Liaise with company internal stakeholders (Purchasing, Production, Sales Operation, Finance, etc.) and external stakeholders (transportation companies, vendors, and customers) on materials, spare parts, machinery imports / exports clearance and prepare
all required applications and documentation for shipment clearance approval.
Review purchase orders, delivery orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy before proceeding to the next process.
Responsible for planning shipments based on goods availability and customer requirements.
Monitor and manage incoming and outgoing shipments, especially on committed arrival or departure dates.
Coordinate and track movement of goods through the logistics systems to ensure goods reach destinations on schedule and expedite when necessary.
Providing information about delivery status to both internal teams and customers in a timely and accurate manner.
Assist the Logistics Executive in developing processes that make the logistics department more efficient and organized.
Responsible for maintaining quality throughout the logistic processes.
Responsible for providing support in merging materials into single shipments, including crating and packing when necessary.
Managing and overseeing administrative processes as instructed by the Logistics Executive.
