Senior Data Engineer

Key Duties & Responsibilities :

• Design and implement scalable data architecture using AWS services (S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda, Step Functions).
• Build and maintain robust ETL / ELT pipelines for transforming raw data into clean, structured datasets. Ensure the reliability, performance, and production readiness of data solutions.
• Maintain strong data governance, security, and quality control across all data workflows.
• Write clean, well-documented code, supporting testing, automation, and version control practices.
• Collaborate with analysts, business stakeholders, and IT teams to understand data needs and deliver user-friendly solutions.
• Promote a knowledge-sharing culture and enhance the team's technical standards.
• Continuously refine and optimize data models (e.g., star schema) to boost reporting efficiency.
• Proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks in data workflows.
• Recommend and experiment with new tools or AWS services to improve engineering efficiency.
• Automate manual processes and drive continuous improvement in data engineering practices.
• Build reliable datasets and pipelines to enable stakeholders to self-serve insights.
• Translate business questions into actionable data solutions for better decision-making and improved customer outcomes.
