About the role
Are you a technical support enthusiast looking to join a thriving technology company? We are seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join our team at COMPUTER NETWORK TECHNOLOGIES SDN. BHD. in Iskandar Puteri Johor. You are responsible for providing remote support in IT diagnostics, and new setup installations. Assist in maintaining accurate records through the ticketing system. You'll handle troubleshooting, maintenance, and collaborate with teams to ensure reliability and compliance. If you're a detail-oriented problem solver with a passion for IT and networks, we'd love to have you on our team.
What you'll be doing
- Assist in daily IT support tasks, and providing basic technical support to end users (First-Level support), escalating issues when needed.
- Support in the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of desktops, printers, and basic network devices.
- Assist in monitoring and reporting system performance and issues.
- Perform advanced network troubleshooting to identify, diagnose, and resolve connectivity and system issues.
- Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement network solutions that support business needs.
- Assist in managing IT assets and ensure records are updated.
- Learn and assist with basic administration tasks such as user account management, antivirus checks, and backups.
- Maintain good communication with users and provide customer-friendly support.
- Assist in client project in ticket replies within 2 hours and arrangements within 24 hours, Onsite ticketing closing with client with helpdesk team and site visits to client premises.
- Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
