Overview
As a Broadcast Journalist , you will have the exciting opportunity to report news stories and deliver compelling content for television.
Responsibilities
- Research, gather, and verify information for news stories, focusing on current affairs, politics, and the economy.
- Write and prepare scripts for television news reports, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and adherence to journalistic standards.
- Conduct interviews with relevant individuals, experts, and eyewitnesses to gather insights and quotes for news stories.
- Present news reports in a clear, confident, and engaging manner while adhering to professional broadcasting standards.
- Collaborate with the production team to develop visually appealing news segments, incorporating multimedia elements when necessary.
- Stay updated with the latest news developments and emerging trends in the BM / English media landscape.
- Maintain high ethical standards in reporting and adhere to the principles of fair and unbiased journalism.
- Follow FMT guidelines and deadlines to ensure timely delivery of news reports.
