Position Overview
The Marketing & Admissions Officer will be part of the Marketing Team, contributing to the school's visibility, reputation, and enrolment success. The role combines responsibility for admissions-focused marketing with wider contributions to campaigns, events, and community engagement.
The postholder will work closely with both the Marketing and Admissions Teams to ensure a seamless and positive experience for families, from initial enquiry through to ongoing engagement. While admissions processes remain with the Admissions Team, this role ensures that marketing, communications, and data insights fully support recruitment and retention.
A key element of the role is being responsible for the promotion and communications for Open Days and other admissions events, working collaboratively with the Admissions Team to ensure a high-quality family experience. The postholder will also be expected to be flexible, supporting the wider needs of the school, and may be assigned other responsibilities as required.
Requirements :
- Candidate must possess at least Diploma / Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma inrelevant fields.
- Good English written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in admissions, pupil services, or marketing within a school setting, eventplanning or coordination experience.
- Multilingual ability to support diverse families.
- Warm, professional manner with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong data management skills with experience handling databases / CRMs andgenerating reports.
- Organised and efficient, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Customer service experience in an educational or service-oriented environment.
- Strong IT literacy (CRM, database management, Microsoft Office / Google Suite).
- Ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality and tact.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Communications
Be responsible for the promotion and communications for Open Days and admissions events, ensuring strong family engagement and brand alignment.Work collaboratively with the Admissions Team to ensure a seamless experience for families.Create and manage content for digital and print channels, including the school website and social media.Support the promotion and delivery of wider school events and community activities.Collect and share family stories, testimonials, and pupil achievements for use in promotional materials.Ensure consistent brand messaging across all communications with prospective and current families.Admissions Marketing
Provide data and insights on admissions enquiries, applications, and conversion trends to inform marketing strategies.Produce regular reports on admissions-related marketing performance to support decision-making.Contribute to admissions-related communications that guide families through the enquiry and onboarding journey.Collaborate with the Admissions Team to ensure promotional materials and messaging support recruitment goals.Collaboration & Teamwork
Act as the key link between Marketing and Admissions, ensuring campaigns align with recruitment priorities.Share insights with colleagues across departments to improve family engagement and communications.Provide flexible support to the wider Marketing Team on projects beyond admissions as required.Contribute ideas and creativity to team planning and campaigns.Take on other responsibilities as assigned, recognising that the role is flexible and may evolve to meet school needs.Safeguarding :
