Overview

Join to apply for the SOCIAL MEDIA SPECIALIST role at PEOPLElogy Berhad .

Motivated and creative individual looking to gain hands-on experience in social media marketing and content creation. The intern will support the marketing team in developing and executing content across various digital platforms day-to-day.

Job Details

  • Job Type : Full-time / Permanent
  • Position Level : Specialist
  • Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree
  • Discipline : Marketing and content creation
  • Schedule : Monday – Friday
  • Pay : RM 4,000 – RM 5,000 a month

Responsibilities

  • Content Creation : Draft, edit, and publish engaging content for social media channels (e.g., Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube). Assist in creating visual assets, including graphics and short videos.
  • Community Engagement : Monitor social media conversations, respond to comments and messages, and actively engage with followers to build a strong online community.
  • Performance Analysis : Help track and report on key social media metrics, such as follower growth, engagement rates, and reach, using analytics tools.
  • Research : Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and social media best practices to help inform content strategy.
  • Administrative Support : Assist with administrative tasks related to content and social media management, including scheduling posts and organizing content calendars. Preparing documents to assist team members.

    • Qualifications & Skills

  • Currently pursuing or a recent graduate with a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with major social media platforms and their respective best practices.
  • Basic understanding of content creation tools like Canva, Adobe Suites, or video editing softwares.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, creative, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.

    • Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of other JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Vue.js, Angular)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Alicloud)
  • Familiarity with Docker and containerization
  • Understanding of serverless architecture
  • Experience with MongoDB and GraphQL
  • Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for web and mobile applications
