Senior Process Engineer

Senior Process Engineer role at Desmet. This position involves assisting in engineering project execution and delivering essential process documentation. Responsibilities

Assist in executing engineering projects by producing essential documents such as basic process flow diagrams (PFDs), equipment sizing and specifications, heat and mass balances, utilities and consumptions, P&IDs, operating manuals, automation descriptions, and HAZOP studies. Work closely with the Process Department Head (HOD) and maintain frequent contact with other departments, customers, and suppliers. Cooperate with the reporting line for project execution planning. Be part of a team responsible for all technical and process-related matters in the Oleochemical Department. Develop chemical process simulations using company-provided software. Participate in site surveys, pre-commissioning, and plant start-ups, and carry out troubleshooting on-site, producing detailed reports. Be present on-site for start-ups or troubleshooting at customer installations, gathering feedback from industrial practice to extend process know-how and continuously improve product lines.
