Penerangan pekerjaanCandidate must process at least Diploma / Post Graduate Diploma / bachelor’s degree or Professional Qualification. Computer Skills : Knowledge of ERP, Microsoft Office or other statistical software is essential. Communication Skills : Demonstrated problem-solving, communication and presentation skills. Resourceful, proactive and able to work in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment. Experience in purchasing and warehousing in the manufacturing industry. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions. Good interpersonal orientation, positive and problem-solving attitude. Dedicated, committed, punctual and independent personality.

Responsibilities
- Research, identify, evaluate and select preferred raw materials and machinery parts suppliers.
- Effective negotiation of all aspects of supply contracts including required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule, warranty and payment terms.
- Conduct regular market research and analyses to stay ahead of input demand, supply, competitive and price trends.
- Develop and execute inventory monitoring and optimization programs.
- Responsible for the preparation and process of purchase orders. Monitor and coordinate deliveries of items between suppliers to ensure items are delivered on time.
- Maintain complete updated purchasing records / data and pricing in the system.
- Ensure accurate, timely completion of all required and necessary reporting.
- Conduct continuous cost reduction activity with effective planning.
- Undertake other necessary functions as determined from time to time by the superior.

Kayaku Safety Systems Malaysia Sdn. Bhd (referred to as “KMY”) is a newly set up company in Malaysia for manufacturing and sales of automotive safety devices as a subsidiary of the Nippon Kayaku Co. Ltd. in Japan which was founded in 1916. From the fusion of pyrotechnics, dyestuffs, pharmaceuticals and other line chemical technologies, Nippon Kayaku has rapidly pioneered numerous new fields of technology.
KMY is located at Sendayan TechValley (nearby Seremban 2, Negeri Sembilan) and will mainly focus on manufacturing airbag inflators which are key component that generates gas pressure to inflate an airbag instantly, Micro Gas Generators (MGG) for seatbelt pretensioner and also Squibs which are small ignition devices built into inflators and MGG.
