Our client a Leading FMCG company is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Senior Executive – Key Account to join their growing FMCG business. The ideal candidate will manage and grow our Modern Trade accounts (Key Accounts, Supermarkets, Hypermarkets), drive visibility and volume, and ensure effective execution at store level.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage and grow relationships with key Modern Trade accounts (MT chains, national / regional retailers).
- Ensure regular availability, visibility, and replenishment of SKUs at store level.
- Plan and execute monthly and quarterly sales targets for MT accounts.
- Coordinate with internal teams (supply chain, marketing, finance) to ensure timely execution of promotional activities and product availability.
- Monitor and analyse sales performance data (sell-in and sell-out) to identify growth opportunities.
- Implement trade marketing activities, planograms, and product displays at store level.
- Ensure execution of planograms, promotional displays, and hygiene standards across outlets.
- Regularly visit stores to ensure adherence to execution standards and build strong relationships with store staff.
- Follow up on order placements, stock movement, and timely collections.
- Handle distributor / retailer coordination for MT billing and execution (if applicable).
- Support in market intelligence gathering and competitor activity tracking.
Key Skills and Qualifications :
Graduate / Postgraduate in Business, Marketing, or related field.1–3 years of relevant experience in Modern Trade sales in FMCG or consumer goods industry.Strong understanding of Modern Trade channel dynamics.Good analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools.Willingness to travel extensively for store visits and account management.Ability to work independently and in a cross-functional team environment.
