Boilerman (based at West Port, Pulau Indah)

1. Possess at least Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or equivalent.

2. Possess a Boilerman Grade 1 or 2 certification.

3. Able to read and write in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Among the Duties

A. Boiler

1. Responsible for the daily running of the boiler safety.

2. Responsible for the maintenance of the boiler.

3. Supervise yearly boiler servicing and overhaul. Prepare for government inspection.

4. Supervise monthly boiler maintenance test by contractor and execute recommendations on chemical dosage.

5. To carry out T.D.S. and hardness test daily.

6. Maintain and update boiler logbook daily.

7. Responsible for the housekeeping of boiler room and air compressor system.

8. Responsible for daily maintenance requirement of air compressor and air dryer.

9. Check oil level of air compressor daily.

B. Silo Utilization and Cleaning

1. Assign silo entry leader during shift hours.

2. Supervise silo entry work.

4. Assign contract worker for bulk corn loading.

C. Maintenance

1. Assist in troubleshooting machinery breakdown.

2. Assign maintenance personnel according to priority.

3. Minimize downtime effect on production through rescheduling.
