Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities
Provide the general professional services of an Audio Engineer
Implement and maintain industry-best-practice standards for the conceptualization, production, finishing, and delivery of all Audio Post services
Work with Head of Audio Post to define and maintain strategic and operational initiatives through research and evaluation of new technologies, software, and remote collaboration tools to enhance productivity and maintain a competitive edge
Work with the Head of Audio Post to develop internal training materials and documentation to ensure cross-departmental understanding of audio workflows and delivery standards
Expertly operate the Avid Pro Tools system to perform audio post engineering work for internal & external clients while ensuring work quality & professionalism fit standards set by the Company
Ensure & amp; maintain quality of technical audio delivered fit standards set by the Company
Maintain proper work ethics & consistently provide high quality service to clients
Ensure Astro Sound+Vision’s facilities are utilised & operate in a proper manner
Ensure Astro Sound+Vision jobs are finished within the allocated time
Keep abreast with latest industry information & advancements in audio engineering
Experience
Minimum 1 year experience in supervisory role in audio engineering & minimum 5 years’ experience in post production for feature film & television content, including exposure to sound design, sound recording, editing, and mixing
Required Skills / Abilities
Strong track record of creative & technical audio engineering skills
Advanced creative & technical audio post production working knowledge of local & international film & television content
Good understanding of Audio Post Production (in detail) & Post Production (overall), and international standards of delivery of media content for broadcast, OTT / streaming & cinema DCP
Extensive knowledge of DAW tools (Pro Tools preferred)
Proficiency in working with immersive sound formats (minimum 5.1 surround sound)
Able to mentor & guide team members
Able to work to tight deadlines
Well organised & self-motivated approach to your workload
