Shop Assistant / Assistant Store Supervisor

The Shop Assistant will support the Retail Store Manager in both retail floor operations and store handling activities. This includes assisting customers, managing inventory, topping up stock and helping with loading tasks when required. The role requires good physical fitness and stamina, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as a part of a team.

In this role, you will :

• Receiving, unpacking and arranging new stocks delivered
• Labelling and arranging goods on the display shelves
• Assisting customers in finding the products they're looking for
• Addressing customer complaints and inquiries
• Topping up stock and ensuring sufficient product availability
• Opening the counter and preparing the store for daily operations
• Assisting with loading activities for incoming and outgoing goods
• Operating forklift when required for stock movement
• Sharp, precise and very careful in handling the job
• Hardworking and positive in all instruction given
• Responsible to retail selling and maintaining store standards
