Job Responsibilities
- Create, set up, and optimize CNC programs (3‑axis, 4‑axis & 5‑axis Milling / Lathe) using Mastercam and SolidWorks .
- Interpret engineering drawings and customer technical specifications to develop efficient machining strategies.
- Simulate and optimize tool paths to meet cycle time, quality, and safety requirements.
- Design jigs and fixtures and document machine‑setup processes.
- Support First Article (FA) and Initial Article (IA) processes and troubleshoot issues.
- Provide technical input for RFQs : estimate cycle time, setup time, tooling cost, and raw‑material specifications.
- Ensure programming meets >
85% yield on first run.
Liaise with planning to ensure timely delivery of programs.Follow the 5 key criteria : Safety, Quality, Stability, Simplicity, Cost‑efficiency .Qualifications
Diploma in CNC Precision Engineering or related certification.3–5 years experience in CNC programming (Milling / Lathe) in a precision engineering environment.Proficient in Mastercam (v2019+) and SolidWorks (v2021+) .Strong understanding of GD&T, ISO quality systems, and surface‑treatment calculations.Problem‑solving mindset; able to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel .Preferred Knowledge
Familiar with ISO 9001 : 2015 standards.Knowledge of external processes such as EDM, Wire‑cut, Grinding, Laser‑marking , etc.Application Questions
