Senior Finance Manager / Finance Manager

The Senior Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the hospital, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in line with healthcare industry standards. This role provides financial leadership, strategic planning, and operational support to the hospital’s management team, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to support patient care, service excellence, and long-term sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the hospital’s Finance team to ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
• Oversee daily financial operations including billing, collections, payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare financial regulations, tax laws, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Monitor and manage hospital cash flow, operating costs, and capital expenditure to ensure financial sustainability.
• Collaborate with clinical and operational departments to develop cost control measures while maintaining quality of patient care.
• Analyse hospital performance metrics (e.g., revenue per patient, occupancy rates, departmental cost efficiency) to support data-driven decision-making.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to the CEO, COO, Medical Director, and other senior management for strategic planning.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, insurance providers, and regulatory bodies related to hospital operations.
• Implement financial systems, controls, and processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and transparency.
• Support business development initiatives, such as evaluating new medical services, expansion projects, or partnerships.
