Purchasing
- Develop and execute purchasing strategies aligned with business needs and seasonal demands.
- Source and select suppliers, evaluate quotations, and negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and payment conditions.
- Manage long-lead item orders, backlogs, and supplier performance, ensuring product availability aligns with sales forecasts and project schedules.
- Monitor supply chain trends and recommend actions to mitigate price fluctuations or shortages.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and support product cost updates in coordination with the finance team.
Logistics & Supply Chain
Oversee and coordinate with Logistics team on all importation activities, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and minimizing delays.Work closely with freight forwarders, shipping agents, and regulatory bodies to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery.Plan and monitor inbound shipments and work with the warehouse team to manage receiving and inventory processes.Inventory & Warehouse Management
Optimize stock levels based on sales trends, lead times, and buffer requirements to avoid overstocking or stock outs.Coordinate monthly / quarterly stock counts and investigate variances with Finance and Operations.Review and rationalize aged, slow-moving, or obsolete stock.Business Support & Team Leadership
Lead and supervise the Business Support team handling order processing, customer coordination, and internal documentation.Drive efficiency in workflow, improve turnaround times, and maintain high service levels to internal and external customers.Provide coaching, guidance, and development to team members, ensuring accountability and continuous improvement.Requirements
Minimum Diploma in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related fields (preferred).Experienced in coordinating and working with 3PL logistics and warehouse teams.Certification in Purchasing or Procurement (e.g., CPIM, CPSM) is a plus.Proven experience in a purchasing or procurement role.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP SD Module).Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.Familiarity with procurement procedures and supplier management.Problem-solving skills and ability to resolve conflicts with suppliers or vendors.Benefits
