Project Manager / Business Analyst (Insurance) – Ambition, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Responsibilities
- Lead full project lifecycle from initiation to closure, including planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting.
- Define project scope, timelines, budgets, and deliverables in alignment with business objectives.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (technology, operations, product, risk, compliance).
- Track project progress, manage risks and issues, and ensure timely resolution.
- Prepare project documentation, dashboards, and status updates for stakeholders and steering committees.
- Ensure adherence to internal governance, regulatory standards, and audit requirements.
Business Analysis
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements through workshops, interviews, and data analysis.Translate requirements into functional specifications, user stories, or process flows.Conduct gap analysis between current and target-state processes or systems.Support solution design, UAT planning, test case reviews, and defect resolution.Contribute to process reengineering, automation, and operational efficiency initiatives.Act as the liaison between business users, IT teams, and external vendors.Facilitate meetings, requirement sign-offs, and change requests.Manage third-party deliverables and ensure contractual adherence.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, IT, or a related field.Experience in project management or business analysis within financial services.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.Experience with digital, regulatory, or technology-related initiatives.Knowledge of SDLC and methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.Proficiency with tools like JIRA, MS Project, and Confluence.Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, Scrum, CBAP) are an added advantage.Seniority level
