Produce high-quality, culturally adapted translations from English to Chinese Simplified, ensuring consistency with the company’s brand voice across financial, marketing, and client-facing content. The role supports the company’s global communications strategy by localising materials for Chinese-speaking audiences.
Key Responsibilities
Translate, localise, and creatively adapt content for the company’s multiple websites, mobile apps, landing pages, client communications, social media, paid ads, financial articles, and marketing materials.
Ensure cultural relevance and linguistic accuracy across all Chinese content.
Directly collaborate with the Content Marketing Localisation team on daily assignments received, as well as with the regional Chinese designated proofreader and Marketing Manager to ensure the quality delivered.
Meet daily deadlines and manage multiple translation, localisation, and proofreading assignments simultaneously.
Conduct terminology management and maintain translation quality standards.
Conduct regular research on financial terminology, cultural nuances, and market trends to ensure local relevance.
Conduct regular tentative checks on our websites, landing pages, and members areas and report any inconsistencies.
Requirements
Native‑level fluency in Chinese and high proficiency in English.
Minimum 3 years of professional translation and / or content adaptation experience.
Strong background in financial services or marketing content.
Experience with SEO principles and online content localisation.
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail.
Ability to adapt style and tone based on the type of content and target audience.
Proficient in TMS translation tools and software.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects.
