Our client, a group of accounting professionals operating across Japan and Asia, specializes in consulting, tax, audit, advisory services, M&A, visa support, and establishing local internal controls. They are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Executive to manage tax advisory, compliance, filings, audits, and client inquiries, with strong expertise in local and international tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities :

Tax Advisory :

  • Provide expert guidance on tax matters, including international tax strategies and compliance.

Tax Computations :

  • Prepare accurate and timely tax computations for both corporate and individual clients.
  • Handle corporate and personaltax and Indirect Tax.
  • Handle Transfer Pricing.

    • Compliance Management :

  • Manage tax schedules and ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations and deadlines.

    • Corporate Tax Filing :

  • Handle the preparation and filing of Forms C, CP204, CP204A,and CP204B.

    • Individual Tax Filing :

  • Manage the filing of Forms B, BE, and M for individual clients.

    • Withholding Tax :

  • Prepare and oversee the payment process for withholding tax obligations.

    • Tax Audit & Investigation :

  • Assist with tax audits and investigations, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance.

    • Client & Team Queries :

  • Address queries from the accounting team and clients regarding tax-related matters.

    • Ad-Hoc Assignments :

  • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned to support overall tax operations.

    • Qualifications & Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CTIM) is an advantage.
  • Experience in tax compliance, advisory, or audit roles.
  • Strong knowledge of local and international tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and tax-related software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
