Oleon has over 1,000 employees worldwide in 10 countries. We are looking for a Production Engineer to strengthen our Production department. As a Production Engineer, you will investigate issues, technically analyze production processes and installations, identify issues and opportunities, and define and implement improvement actions and projects to solve urgent and recurring problems and continuously improve efficiency, safety and quality. Responsibilities

Know and apply health, safety, environment & housekeeping procedures and rules; operate in accordance with them, alert risks, participate in risk analyses, take corrective actions in the own work environment, and stimulate safe behavior of colleagues and third parties. Monitor daily production activities and ensure achievement of output, quality, and efficiency targets. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on the production line to minimize downtime. Implement process improvements using Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, or Six Sigma methodologies to improve efficiency, safety and quality of the production processes. Prepare and review production reports, performance data, and root cause analyses. Collaborate with Quality Assurance to maintain product standards and reduce defects. Coordinate with Maintenance to ensure machinery and equipment reliability. Train and guide production operators and technicians. Participate in new product introductions, process validations, and equipment commissioning. Support cost reduction, waste minimization, and energy-saving initiatives. You'll succeed if

You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Manufacturing, or related field). You have a minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the oleochemical / chemical process industry. You have knowledge of production processes, quality systems, and safety standards. You have proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team. You have excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. You are proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP, and basic CAD tools (preferred). You have strong communication and interpersonal skills and can work collaboratively across departments. You are willing to work at Pulau Indah, Port Klang.
