Senior Executive, Cloud Engineer

Are you a seasoned Cloud Engineer with a passion for building, deploying, and optimizing robust cloud solutions? Awantec is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team and drive the successful delivery and support of cutting‑edge cloud projects for our diverse clientele.

In this pivotal role, you’ll be at the forefront of technical delivery, transforming finalized designs into fully functional cloud and hybrid cloud environments. You’ll work collaboratively with architects, partners, and principals to ensure project success, focusing on timely completion, budget adherence, and uncompromised security and compliance.

What You’ll Do

• Lead Project Implementations : Own client communication, manage internal resources, and ensure smooth project delivery from testing to handover.
• Architect & Deploy Solutions : Implement finalized cloud designs, including rigorous testing, seamless handovers, and ongoing operational support.
• Provide Expert Support : Offer escalation support for a wide range of client environments and technologies, ensuring optimal performance and swift issue resolution.
• Optimize & Innovate : Regularly review existing systems, identify opportunities for improvement, and collaborate with customer success teams to enhance service delivery.
• Document & Educate : Create comprehensive documentation for as‑built environments, develop knowledge‑base articles, and train internal and external teams.
• Ensure Security & Compliance : Develop and maintain cloud solutions in line with best practices and company security policies, identifying and resolving infrastructure vulnerabilities.
• Client Collaboration : Interact directly with clients, provide exceptional cloud support, and offer tailored recommendations to meet their evolving needs.
