We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to lead and manage large-scale Solar Renewable Energy projects at East Coast Malaysia. The Project Manager will oversee all aspects of the project life cycle, from initial design and planning through to execution and final delivery, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for execution of Solar Farm Project Planning, Execution & Closure phases
- Planning : Preparation of Project schedule, Resources & Cost plan, Risk management plan, Procurement plan, Documentation plan
- Execution : Preparation of project tracking / monitoring strategies, execution of cost control strategies (EVMS), quality control, risk control, project reporting to stakeholders
- Closure : Coordination of handover to Asset Management, O&M and post-construction team
- Management of multi-expertise project team
- Management of EPCC master project work program
- Management of project risks, troubleshooting site issues, and problem-solving
- Accountable for cost, timeline & quality of the LSS EPCC project
- Lead communication with internal and external project stakeholders and main focal point of contact for all project-related communications
- Review & coordination of acceptance procedures & construction methods
- Reporting to the Project Director & Senior management of the Company
- Site representative for the Company
Requirements / Qualification
Academic degree in engineering (preferably Electrical or Civil)At least five years of relevant work experience as a Project ManagerPMP certification is an advantageWell-developed generalist mindset with a broad spectrum of knowledge covering both Civil & Electrical engineering basicsGeneral technical understanding of Civil works (Earthworks, Drainage & Structural construction)Renewable energy (preferably solar) & Power SystemsAbility to manage complex projects and multitude of stakeholdersCritical thinker & data curiosityMust be a team player, self-driven & independentHighly systematic & organizedCompetency in Mandarin is an advantageHigh level of computer literacy & competency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs & Slides) or Microsoft equivalentsWillingness to travel or relocate (if required) and to be based in East Coast Malaysia (e.g., Pahang, Terengganu, etc)Excellent networking, leadership, negotiation, and time management skillsInterested candidates are invited to submit their resume and a cover letter detailing their relevant experience to
