Position Overview

The Business Development Specialist (ESG Reporting) will play a critical role in expanding AI Smartual Learning’s ESG and sustainability services, particularly among Public Listed Companies (PLCs). This role involves identifying opportunities, developing client relationships, and providing consultative solutions that align with Bursa Malaysia’s Sustainability Reporting Guidelines, TCFD, and international ESG frameworks such as GRI, SASB, and IFRS S1 / S2.

Responsibilities

• Business Development & Client Acquisition : Identify, engage, and secure new ESG reporting and sustainability consulting clients, especially PLCs and large corporations. Develop strategic partnerships with corporate clients, regulators, and industry associations. Prepare and deliver impactful business proposals, presentations, and ESG service pitches.
• ESG Strategy & Solutions : Work closely with the ESG and technical teams to tailor sustainability and carbon disclosure solutions for clients. Support clients in aligning their sustainability disclosures with Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements, TCFD, GRI, SASB, and IFRS S1 / S2 frameworks. Advise clients on ESG data collection, risk assessment, and performance improvement strategies.
• Market Intelligence & Reporting : Monitor trends in ESG reporting regulations, sustainability ratings (FTSE4Good, MSCI, etc.), and carbon policies. Contribute to the development of new ESG service offerings and digital tools such as 360ImpactESG.com. Prepare regular market analysis reports and pipeline forecasts for management.
• Relationship Management : Maintain long-term relationships with key corporate clients and provide continuous support on ESG matters. Coordinate with internal technical, sustainability, and product teams to ensure project delivery and client satisfaction.
