AI / Software Developer

Overview Role Summary :

As an innovation specialist, this role involves designing, developing and contributing to the creation of complete prototypes to evaluate new technologies in a lab setting that can be demonstrated to the business. You will be a key member of the team, providing insights from various perspectives, ensuring that each prototype is developed with a comprehensive understanding of industry requirements and customer needs. Occasional travel may be required. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Malaysia without the need for visa sponsorship and be fluent in English.

Responsibilities

Design & Develop Prototypes :

Create and demonstrate new technology prototypes. Collaborate with colleagues to refine and evaluate prototypes.

Solution Management :

Maintain solution history using a source control system. Communicate work progress through tasks in DevOps.

Quality Assurance :

Unit test all work to ensure high quality. Participate in solution reviews to maintain high standards.

Product Development :

Understand requirements and develop plans to achieve objectives.

Communication :

Maintain progress updates and relay these through daily stand ups. Present sprint findings to various internal teams.

Decision Making :

Make timely and effective decisions.

Skills and Experience Required :

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Proficiency in project management and coordination.

Experience with data analysis and interpretation.

Knowledge of Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, AI Agents and other AI concepts.

Understanding of the automotive and equipment industries is a plus.

Familiarity with MVP (Minimum Viable Product) techniques and product development lifecycle.

Knowledge of Dynamics 365, Dataverse and Power Platform is a plus.
