Job Summary
The Executive, Finance (Treasury) will be responsible for managing the company’s cash flow and banking operations related to operating expenditures (OPEX), capital expenditures (CAPEX), project payments, and other financial activities to ensure optimal liquidity and financial efficiency. This role includes preparing treasury reports and supporting the execution of financial strategies for Malaysia’s flagship East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) project. The position offers exposure to complex cash management systems and ESG-linked treasury operations within a dynamic infrastructure environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily cash flow positions, fund transfers, and liquidity planning to support operational and project requirements.
- Prepare periodic treasury and cash management reports for management and relevant stakeholders.
- Liaise with banks, financial institutions, and internal departments on treasury-related matters.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date treasury records, documentation, and reconciliation reports.
- Support continuous improvement, automation, and digitalisation initiatives within the treasury and finance functions.
- Assist in meeting internal and external audit requirements related to treasury operations.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, or a related discipline.Minimum 2 years’ experience in audit, treasury, corporate banking, or finance operations; exposure to infrastructure or project finance is an advantage.Strong understanding of cash flow management , treasury instruments , and banking operations .Proficient in Microsoft Excel ; experience with Treasury Management Systems (TMS) or ERP platforms is preferred.Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.A proactive team player with strong integrity and a continuous improvement mindset.What You’ll Gain
