Senior Executive - Cybersecurity

Penerangan pekerjaanA degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or related fields. 1–3 years of experience in cybersecurity, technology governance, risk, compliance, or information security. Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as BNM RMiT, ISO27001, MAS TRM, NIST, CIS, or equivalent. Understanding of cloud security, API governance, and technology risk management frameworks. Strong communication skills able to translate technical concepts for senior stakeholders. Professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, ISO27001 Auditor are a plus. Role Overview
Join PayNet as a Senior Executive – Cybersecurity, leading the Cyber & Technology Risk team to secure Malaysia’s financial infrastructure. You will partner with the Chief Information Security Officer to strengthen risk governance, drive strategic risk management, and promote a culture of proactive security.
Responsibilities
- Strengthen Cyber & Technology Risk Governance : Implement and continuously improve cybersecurity, technology risk, and compliance frameworks.
- Drive Strategic Risk Management : Collaborate with business and technology teams to identify, assess, and report on operational and strategic risks.
- Lead Cloud & API Security Initiatives : Conduct cloud risk assessments, monitor cloud governance, and establish robust API security frameworks.
- Enhance Ecosystem Security : Oversee the cybersecurity posture of PayNet’s bank and non‑bank participants, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
- Promote Security Culture : Champion internal security awareness programs and foster a culture of proactive risk management.
- Support Regulatory Readiness : Stay ahead of evolving laws, regulations, and industry standards to keep PayNet compliant and resilient.
