Product Lead - Retail Payments Platform

Overview

A leading financial institution is looking for a Product Lead to drive strategy and agile delivery for its Retail Payments platform. You’ll be leading a cross-functional product team responsible for delivering high-impact solutions across cross-border payments, domestic payment networks, and financial messaging standards such as ISO 20022, SWIFT, Visa, Mastercard, and remittance services. What You’ll Be Doing

Define and co-own the product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap with the Domain Tech Lead. Lead delivery of end-to-end payment solutions, prioritizing market needs and aligning with business OKRs. Guide the team through data-driven product decisions, stakeholder feedback, and competitive insights. Manage product planning, backlog prioritization, and stakeholder alignment in an Agile-at-Scale environment. Work closely with engineering, design, and risk teams to ensure quality releases, regulatory compliance, and timely delivery. Mentor and manage a team of Product Owners, fostering a high-performance culture. Ensure alignment across customer journeys and eliminate delivery blockers. Participate in enterprise planning ceremonies like Big Room Planning and performance reviews. What We’re Looking For

Expertise in retail payments, cross-border and domestic payment integration, and financial messaging standards (SWIFT, ISO 20022, etc.). Experience working with networks such as Visa, Mastercard, and local payment rails. Previous leadership experience managing cross-functional agile teams in financial services. Strategic thinker with a product mindset and ability to produce measurable outcomes. Familiarity with tools like ADO, Confluence, and Clarity for planning and delivery tracking. Key Skills
