At PwC, our people strategy focuses on developing and implementing long‑term strategies to align our human capital with overall business objectives. This includes analyzing workforce trends, applying the latest HR strategy, long‑term workforce planning and improving employee experience.
In the HR Business Partner role you will partner with business stakeholders, advise on people strategies, policies and programmes, and work to shape the firm’s people strategy and priorities.
Responsibilities
- Execute people strategy and initiatives in partnership with local and regional leaders and HR teams (talent acquisition, learning and development, compensation and benefits, HR shared services) in line with people policies and business priorities. This includes recruitment strategy, workforce planning, talent management and employee experience.
- Be a trusted liaison between staff and leaders and role model PwC’s values.
- Work with leaders to identify and anticipate immediate and future people needs, and develop practical solutions.
- Have a point of view on people policies and practices, and be able to formulate, implement and regularly review practices to ensure we remain an employer of choice.
- Drive the annual performance and rewards review cycle, including goal setting, performance reviews, bonus allocation and salary increments.
- Manage, provide advice on, and resolve employee relations issues.
- Ensure timely reporting to stakeholders.
- Ensure that all requests and questions from employees are attended to efficiently.
- Develop and implement staff engagement strategy incorporating best practices and data points from internal employee surveys.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.Three to five years’ progressive HR experience (HR consulting, HR Generalist, HR & administration) with multinational companies ideally in fast‑changing industries.HR knowledge of Malaysia local and expatriate employment practices and labour laws is desirable.Excellent stakeholder management skills.Strong business acumen.Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, agile with change.Other Requirements
