Summary

This role is for a proactive and skilled DLP Platform Operations Engineer to manage and support the day-to-day operations of our Data Loss Prevention (DLP) platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring platform stability, managing endpoint agents, handling incidents and troubleshooting, supporting DLP-related projects, and engaging with vendors to ensure seamless service delivery and crucial to enforcing data protection policies and minimizing the risk of sensitive data leakage.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage the health and performance of DLP infrastructure and endpoints.
• Perform routine checks and validations to ensure DLP policies are applied correctly across systems.
• Respond to alerts, incidents, and policy violations in a timely manner.
• Oversee deployment, upgrades, and health monitoring of DLP agents across endpoints.
• Troubleshoot and remediate agent-related issues to ensure consistent policy enforcement.
• Investigate DLP incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and coordinate with stakeholders for resolution.
• Escalate and follow through on complex issues with internal teams or external vendors.
• Participate in DLP-related projects, including policy tuning, expansion of coverage, and integration with other security platforms.
• Assist in incident, Problem and change management processes.
• Work with DLP vendors for platform upgrades, issue resolutions, and enhancements.
• Track support cases and ensure timely resolution in accordance with SLAs.
• Maintain operational documentation including SOPs, run books, and system diagrams.
• Generate periodic reports on platform status, incident trends, and KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, security policies, and audit requirements.
• Conduct user onboarding / off boarding and policy exception reviews.
• Support awareness and training initiatives related to data protection.
