Diploma or Degree in Culinary Arts or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Japanese kitchen and at least 1 year experience on teppanyaki or live cooking in a luxury hotel or fine dining environment. Expert in teppanyaki cooking techniques including knife skills, grilling and guest-facing performance. Confident and engaging in front of guests with good communication skills. Knowledge of Japanese ingredients, sauces and flavor profiles. Creativity, attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences. Seniority level
