Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Sales & Marketing Manager to develop and execute strategies that will drive enrollment and awareness for the Gemological Institute of Malaysia. You’ll be responsible for leading marketing campaigns, managing digital presence, and fostering relationships with key stakeholders to promote our gemology programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to promote GIM’s programs and services.
- Drive student recruitment efforts by identifying new markets, developing campaigns, and expanding GIM’s brand presence.
- Coordinate digital marketing efforts (social media, SEO, email campaigns, website content) to increase engagement and visibility.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including international educational partners and industry leaders.
- Prepare and manage sales budgets and forecasts for GIM’s recruitment programs.
- Organize events, webinars, and marketing activities to increase brand awareness and attract potential students.
- Collaborate with the academic team to ensure marketing materials are accurate and up to date.
- Analyze and report on marketing campaign performance and sales results.
- Offer professional advice and detailed certificate and diploma course information to prospective students and parents, delivering a positive and informative consultation experience.
- Coordinate and participate in school visits, educational fairs, roadshows, and other outreach activities to boost brand visibility and drive student enrollment.
- Manage the student admission process, ensuring follow-ups and on-time tuition fee payments.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field (background in education marketing is a plus).Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing or sales management, preferably within the education industry and experience in international marketing is an advantage.Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and strategies.Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Passion for the educational sector.Results-driven, self-motivated, and capable of working independently while meeting deadlines and performance targets.Creative, resourceful, and dedicated to providing exceptional customer service.Possess a valid driving license and own transportation, with the flexibility to travel within Klang Valley and across Malaysia.Willing to work beyond standard office hours, including weekends and public holidays.Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is essential; Mandarin proficiency is a plus.Employment type
