Role Overview
We are seeking a Marketing Specialist to lead and execute marketing initiatives that strengthen our brand positioning and market engagement. Reporting directly to the General Manager , this role is responsible for managing marketing communications, overseeing agency deliverables, and supporting trade marketing activities across all brands under our portfolio. The successful candidate will work closely with internal departments and external partners to ensure consistent brand representation and effective marketing execution.
This position requires a strategic thinker with hands‑on experience in marketing operations, social media management, and promotional material development. Occasional outstation travel is required to support sales teams and dealer marketing activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate marketing and branding activities in line with corporate direction and brand guidelines.
- Work closely with appointed agencies to plan and execute social media content, digital campaigns, and creative development .
- Plan and execute dealer marketing programs to support sales growth, brand activation, and customer engagement at the channel level.
- Support product launches, dealer events, and roadshows , including planning and on‑site coordination.
- Develop trade marketing materials such as brochures, bunting, and point-of-sale (POS) items to support product launches and dealer promotions.
- Support the sales team and dealer network in marketing initiatives, campaigns, and events across different regions.
- Ensure consistency and alignment of brand messages across all communication channels and market activities.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
- Coordinate internal and external communications to maintain strong brand visibility and engagement.
- Manage marketing budgets and ensure cost-effective execution of campaigns and materials.
- Perform other marketing-related duties or projects as assigned by the General Manager .
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing , Mass Communication , Business Administration , or a related field.Minimum 4–6 years of marketing experience , preferably in the automotive, consumer goods, or B2B distribution industry .Proven experience in social media management , branding , and trade marketing .Strong coordination skills with experience working with creative or digital agencies.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English , Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese would be added advantage .Proficiency in Microsoft Office ; familiarity with design coordination or marketing analytics tools will be an advantage.Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects under tight timelines.Willing to travel outstation to support sales and dealer marketing activities when required.Why Join Us
