Pre-Opening Phase Responsibilities
- Assisting the Sales Manager and Senior Sales Manager in executing the pre-opening sales and revenue strategy.
- Identifying potential corporate, government, group, and travel agency accounts to build the initial client database.
- Actively sourcing new business leads through cold calls, networking, and site visits.
- Preparing proposals, quotations, and sales presentations aligned with pre-opening promotions.
- Supporting the MarCom team in developing sales collaterals and marketing materials for the hotel launch.
- Participating in sales calls, roadshows, and promotional campaigns before the opening.
- Conducting market analysis and reporting competitor activities to strengthen hotel positioning.
- Assisting in setting up Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Sales & Marketing Department.
- Supporting recruitment, training, and orientation of sales team members during the pre-opening phase.
- Ensuring all assigned sales targets and pre-opening milestones are achieved.
Post-Opening Phase Responsibilities
Once the hotel is operational, the Assistant Sales Manager will play a vital role in delivering revenue growth and client satisfaction by :
Managing assigned market segments (corporate, government, leisure, or MICE) to achieve revenue targets.Building and maintaining strong client relationships to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships.Assisting the Sales Manager in preparing sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and revenue analysis.Conducting regular sales calls, presentations, and site inspections to secure new business.Coordinating with Banquet, Front Office, and MarCom teams to maximize event sales and guest experience.Negotiating and finalizing contracts with clients under the guidance of the Sales Manager.Monitoring competitors' performance and adjusting sales strategies accordingly.Ensuring accurate and timely reporting of sales activities, achievements, and challenges.Supporting the Sales Manager in leading and motivating the junior sales team.Representing KLIH at exhibitions, trade fairs, and networking events to enhance brand visibility.Job Type : Full-time
