Role Description

We are seeking a creative and highly organized

Content & Social Media Manager

(Fully Remote with occassional travel) to oversee content creation, editing, publishing, and social engagement across multiple brands :

  • A global armwrestling sports league
  • A fine dining Japanese restaurant
  • A major anime convention + Tabletop Gaming Store

This role blends video editing, social media management, and community engagement. You'll be the driving force behind turning our live events, restaurant highlights, and fan experiences into engaging short-form content that grows our online presence.

Responsibilities

  • Edit short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) from existing footage.
  • Manage and schedule daily uploads across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms.
  • Write engaging captions and ensure consistent brand voice.
  • Re-share daily content on Instagram and interact with followers in comments and messages.
  • Create basic photo edits and promotional graphics when needed.
  • Track analytics and provide performance reports with recommendations.
  • Stay on top of social media trends and apply them across multiple brands.
  • Create a script and video
  • Draft short scripts and talking points that leadership can read directly for video shoots, announcements, or promotional clips.
  • Prepare

    • shot lists and camera angle suggestions

    in advance so on-site videographers know exactly what to capture.

  • Provide clear remote direction and creative guidance to ensure footage matches the editing vision.

    • Requirements

  • Excellent English communication skills (written & spoken).
  • Proficiency in video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci, or CapCut).
  • Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube algorithms.
  • Ability to manage multiple brands and balance different tones / styles.
  • Highly organized with strong time-management skills.
  • Creative mindset and eye for storytelling.
  • Bonus : Photo editing / graphic design experience.
  • Bonus : Prior experience in sports, F&B, or event / convention industries.
  • Qualified for a US Visa a plus
  • Portfolio of video's edited, both long form (Horizontal) and short form (Vertical).
  • Portfolio of graphic works (posters) if applicable
  • Portfolio of storyboarding if applicable
