ABOUT THE JOB
Serves as a trusted officer to the GCFO, ensuring that the office functions efficiently. This position plays a key role in managing high-priority initiatives, projects and business interactions across the organisation.
Additionally, the role facilitates the review and validation of critical documents, strategic papers and financial reports, ensuring that decisions are well-informed, approval is timely, aligned with organisational goals and in compliance with regulatory standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Internal & External Stakeholder Liaison
- Lead the coordination of cross-functional teams to gather insights and address issues to facilitate GCFO’s decision‑making processes.
Oversight & Approval Facilitation
Review and validate financial documents and strategic papers ensuring all submissions align with corporate objectives, governance frameworks, and regulatory standards before final approval.Projects & Initiatives
Specific assignments or initiatives assigned by the GCFO, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and in line with strategic priorities. Provide ongoing updates to the GCFO on the status of these initiatives, ensuring transparency and alignment.CANDIDATE MUST HAVE
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related fieldA minimum of 5 years in relevant rolesWE VALUE
Proven experience in Financial Management and Reporting, Strategic Planning, Project Management, as well as Governance and Compliance.Professional accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, ICAEW) is a strong advantage.LOCATION
