To provide comprehensive and high-level administrative and organizational support to the Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO), ensuring efficient management of schedules, correspondence, reports, and cross-departmental coordination within the Accounts & Finance functions. This role supports strategic financial leadership by enabling the CFO to focus on core priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the CFO’s daily schedule, meeting arrangements, and travel plans.
- Screen, prioritize, and respond to correspondence, emails, and calls on behalf of the CFO.
- Prepare confidential documents, meeting papers, board materials, and financial reports as requested.
- Coordinate internal and external meetings, taking minutes and tracking action items.
- Maintain and organize filing systems (digital and hard copy) for financial and strategic documents.
- Liaise with Finance, Legal, and Operations teams to support CFO’s initiatives.
- Track deadlines, action plans, and strategic projects under CFO’s purview.
- Assist with expense reporting, procurement requests, and budgeting-related admin tasks.
- Provide support in audit, board meeting prep, and finance presentations.
- Handle confidential and time-sensitive financial data with integrity.
- Balance multiple priorities under tight timelines, especially during audit, budget, and board cycles.
- Coordinating across departments and senior stakeholders with differing urgency levels.
- Adapt quickly to last‑minute changes in CFO’s schedule or corporate priorities.
Qualifications / Requirements
Minimum : Diploma in Business Administration, Secretarial Studies, Finance, or equivalent.Preferred : Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or Management.Executive Assistant / Secretarial Certification (optional but advantageous).3–5 years’ experience supporting senior executives, ideally in finance or corporate office settings.High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and organizational ability.Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).Strong command of English and Bahasa Malaysia in written and verbal communication.Familiarity with financial documentation, audit processes, and budget cycles.Ability to manage sensitive financial or board‑level materials.
