Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while handling transactions efficiently. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage cash transactions will be key in ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries.
- Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Process sales through the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently.
- Maintain an organized and clean checkout area.
- Stock shelves and ensure product displays are appealing and well-maintained.
- Communicate promotions and sales to customers to enhance their shopping experience.
- Assist in supervising junior staff members when necessary.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and effectively.
Requirements
Previous experience in a retail environment is preferred.Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills, including retail math.Familiarity with POS systems and cash registers is a plus.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual abilities are highly desirable.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.Must possess strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with customers and team members.Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.Join us in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while contributing to the success of our team
