Job Summary
As a Senior Global Operation Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the efficient execution of Trade Finance operations within the bank. You will play a vital role in the Trade Operations team and be responsible for the processes of delivering Trade Finance services for Standard Chartered Bank’s clients with a focus on client experience as well as management of risk and full compliance of rules, regulations, procedures, practices, and policies that are applicable to the process.

Execute processing of Trade Finance processes, ensuring adherence to operating instructions, and full compliance of internal policies as well as regulatory requirementsMaintain process documentation, including workflow diagrams, department operating instructionsIdentify opportunities for process optimization and automation to enhance operational efficiency and reduce riskCollaborate with internal teams to implement process improvements and drive operational excellenceMaintain high productivity and completion of tasks within assigned cycle times with high accuracy in execution of transactionsPeople & Talent

Bachelor’s Degree in finance, business administration, or a related field is recommended. A relevant professional certification (e.g., Certified Documentary Credit Specialist), preferred.1-3 years of relevant experience in trade finance operations within a banking or financial institution is added advantageExcellent analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levelsAttention to detail and a high level of accuracy in executing trade finance operationsGood command of English language is a must.
