Mee Tarik Jalan Sultan (MTJS) is seeking a dynamic, hands-on Sales & Marketing Manager / Assistant Manager to drive strategy and execution across five retail outlets and on our Grab delivery channel, which currently contributes about 30% of total sales. You will help strategise, design and execute integrated campaigns to achieve targeted sales. This role requires a balance of strategic thinking and operational execution, managing everything from retail store, Grab promotions and CRM for loyalty members to on-ground activations and digital advertising.
Retail & Grab Sales Growth
- Strategise, plan and implement marketing campaigns that grow sales across five physical stores and the Grab platform.
- Strategise and execute Grab-specific promotions, seasonal campaigns, and Grab ad buys, ensuring ROI and steady sales growth.
- Monitor and report on sales performance weekly and monthly to track progress towards sales target.
Loyalty & CRM (EBER)
Maximise the EBER database to boost in-store traffic and redemptions.Design and execute targeted campaigns using customer segmentation, purchase behaviour, and redemption trends.Create automated workflows and analyse customer data to continually optimise offers, frequency of outreach, and personalised promotions.Collaborate with operations to translate insights into better on-ground mechanics and seamless customer experience.Track and report key metrics such as sign-ups, active users, redemption rates, and incremental revenue, using data to refine strategies.Operations & POS Integration
Oversee and troubleshoot POS systems (Zeoniqs or similar) for marketing and promotions, ensuring seamlessness.Proactively recommend, implement and manage marketing and operational improvements to optimise transaction flow and customer experience.Retail Store Marketing Support
New Store Launches : Support the opening of new outlets from a marketing perspective — from setting up Google business, signage, menu, bantings and brand visibility to launch activations and opening promotions.Work closely with operations to integrate marketing into store layouts, promotions, and customer experience.Digital & Social Media
Help Manage and oversee MTJS’s digital ecosystem — including website, social media (Meta, TikTok), and digital content planning — ensuring consistency in brand voice and engagement.Plan and execute paid ad buys (Meta, TikTok, Google) with data-driven reporting and ROI tracking.Team & Stakeholder Leadership
Lead and develop the marketing team; foster a culture of creativity and accountability.Collaborate with external stakeholders — including Grab, EBER, vendors, suppliers, printers, designers — to deliver campaigns on time and on budget.Serve as the second-in-command to the Brand Manager, capable of making decisions and leading projects independently.QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or equivalent4–7 years’ marketing experience with at least 2 years at an assistant manager or manager level.Proven success driving sales-focused marketing for retail or F&B brands, including both in-store and delivery channels.Hands-on experience with GRAB, POS systems and troubleshooting operational issues.Strong digital marketing skills, including Meta and TikTok ad buys, data tracking, and campaign performance analysis.Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple campaigns and stakeholders under tight deadlines.Strong leadership and people management capabilities.KEY ATTRIBUTES
