The Role :
We’re seeking a senior marketing executive based in Kuala Lumpur. Reporting to the marketing lead, your mission is to drive brand awareness and consideration in the market. You will lead the development and implementation of the marketing strategy and build and nurture valuable relationships with key external collaborators. The role will be ever‑changing and will require the candidate to be flexible, open‑minded, and output‑driven with a strong sense of ownership.
Responsibilities
Lead cultural & influencer, and communications strategy for Malaysia, from planning to execution, aligned with local business goals and global priorities.Be the local voice of the brand, helping drive awareness and trust across all touchpoints.Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with top‑tier tech, lifestyle, and business media.Develop and nurture a network of key influencers, including TikTok creators, lifestyle creators, and subculture leaders.Monitor cultural conversations, track emerging trends, and adapt strategies to keep the brand ahead of the curve.Manage our local PR and Influencers agencies to deliver world‑class output.Track and report our Influencer and PR programme, ensuring KPIs are being achieved and requirements are met, identifying opportunities and escalating risks.Drive continuous improvement through test, learn, and refine our always‑on marketing approach.Requirements
5+ years of experience in PR / Influencer marketing, preferably with a background in youth lifestyle / fashion or premium technology.Demonstrated knowledge and experience in multi‑channel marketing work.Great understanding of the influencer and social media landscape, particularly across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.Entrepreneurial and comfortable with changing environments as well as multiple overlapping projects.Creative thinker – able to be reactive, identify trends and create original content ideas.Highly organised with strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines.Proficiency in both written and spoken Malay and English.Seniority level
