Job description: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations or related fiel dMore than 5 years' experience in warehouse operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory / managerial role .Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS),inventory control systems, SAP tools and systems, like SAP ERP, SAP S / 4HANA will be adding advantage sKnowledge of international shipping procedures and documentation (if applicable )Must be able to work in shift and willingness to work flexible hours / weekends during peak season sExperience and knowledge of TPM would be an advantag eStrong leadership and decision-making capabilities .Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skill sAbility to motivate and manage a diverse tea mStrong communication skills for cross-functional coordinatio nHigh level of attention to detail and commitment to operational excellenc
Responsibilities :
- Lead and oversee end-to-end warehouse operations including receiving, storing, inventory control, and dispatch.
- Monitoring and reporting on key warehouse performance metrics to drive continuous improvement
- Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to improve efficiency, optimize productivity, and safety.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as 5S, lean warehousing, and automation projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of logistics processes with other business functions
- Enforce high safety standards to maintain a healthy and legally compliant work environment
- Supervising and coordinating the work of warehouse staff, including warehouse contractors
- Oversee the training and development of the logistics team, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively
