Overview
The Systems Support Engineer is the first point of contact for clients requiring technical assistance. You will provide support for hardware, software, networking, and system-related issues, ensuring that customer operations run smoothly. With your Electrical & Electronic Engineering expertise, you’ll bring an added advantage in handling hardware troubleshooting, systems integration, and technical problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support via phone, email, remote tools, or on-site visits.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to hardware, software, networking, and system configurations.
- Escalate complex problems to higher-level engineers when necessary.
- Maintain accurate logs of support requests, resolutions, and follow-ups.
- Support installation, configuration, and testing of systems and applications.
- Assist in preventive maintenance, system monitoring, and performance checks.
- Provide training and guidance to users on system usage and troubleshooting steps.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of customer issues.
- Stay updated with the latest IT and electronic system technologies to provide informed support.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (or related field).Strong foundation in IT systems, networking, and hardware troubleshooting.Good understanding of operating systems (Windows / Linux) and database environments.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Customer-focused, patient, and able to explain technical concepts clearly.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Willingness to travel for client support when required.Fresh graduates with strong technical knowledge are encouraged to apply.Application questions
