Overview
The brand copywriter is responsible for spearheading the development, articulation, and execution of brand messaging across the board – from advertising on Google's search engine to a campaign landing page. You are ideally the go-to person on all things tonal in our brand voice to be in charge of content strategy and co-own brand custodianship.
You will also be collaborating with the Product team based in Shanghai.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the creation and ongoing refinement of brand messaging, ensuring all written content aligns with the company's positioning, values, and visual identity.
- Write, edit, and proofread high-quality copy for a variety of channels including websites, campaigns, social media, packaging, emails, press releases, and internal communications.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive brand voice and messaging guide for use across departments and platforms.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, creative, and product teams to develop concepts and campaigns that deliver consistent and impactful brand experiences.
- Interpret creative briefs and proactively guide copy direction to best meet business goals and resonate with diverse audiences.
- Conduct market and audience research to inform messaging strategy and ensure relevancy.
- Analyze campaign performance, draw insights, and refine messaging approaches based on data and feedback.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends in branding, copywriting, and digital marketing to continually raise the standard for written communication.
- Manage and mentor junior copywriters or freelancers as needed to ensure brand standards are maintained.
