Environmental, Safety and Health (ESH) Assistant
To coordinate all administrative functions, ensuring the smooth operation of the ESH Department.
To assist in preparing reports, compiling statistics, organizing training sessions, and managing meeting arrangements.
To support the department in handling ad-hoc assignments and maintaining organized documentation and filing systems.
Manage daily administrative tasks for the ESH department to ensure seamless operations.
Assist in the preparation and compilation of departmental budgets, including OPEX, CAPEX, manpower, and training budgets.
Maintain organized and up-to-date electronic and paper filing systems for department records.
Ensure documentation and procedures are compliant with the hospital’s SOP and regulatory standards.
Assist in following up with departments on timely submission of reports.
Compile and distribute monthly reports, including accident statistics, walkabout reports, and quality improvement reports.
Coordinate with contractors for maintenance activities (e.g., CCTV repair), access card activation, and other facilities-related matters.
To perform ad-hoc assignments and projects as assigned by the superior.
Qualifications & Experience
Certificate / Diploma in ESH or equivalent.
Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health from a DOSH-approved training provider (preferred).
Minimum 1 year of working experience in an administrative role, preferably in a healthcare or safety-related environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Knowledge of occupational safety and health practices is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in compiling reports and documents.
Good communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Demonstrates teamwork, responsibility, and ability to handle confidential information.
Able to work flexible hours when required.
